In 2012, the two founders, Ted Baker and KC Holiday founded QALO from a dining room table looking to prove their concept of the solution they had found for themselves; metal wedding are not practical for our active, everyday lives. Since emptying their savings accounts and launching the company in 2013, they have grown to over 70 employees and continue to blaze their path forward with customer care and product innovation as the clear-cut leaders in the space they created. How SAP Business One Improved our Efficiency and Growth

From 1991-2005 Compliance Poster Company was running 2 systems- QuickBooks for accounting and Mail Order Manager (MOM) for Sales Order logistics and shipping.  We needed a complete solution for Customer Relations Management, Accounting, Order processing and production logistics, and shipping. We have over 800k customers in the database and 350-700 orders daily with more than 4000 orders a day during our busy cycle. We needed a software that could manage this effectively and have room to grow and expand. We looked at many software companies. NetSuite, Great Plains Dynamics, Mas90, and choose SAPB1 because of its ability to easily be modified (UDF’s, UDT’s, SQL base,) and integrate with other solutions. There were many things that we needed to improve on and SAPB1 gave us the flexibility and structure to do this. Key Business Benefits:

Best Practices & Ideas: Migrating Business One From SQL to HANA

The vast majority of SAP Business One Customers today run their ERP system on Microsoft SQL.  With the high emphasis on SAP HANA as the platform of the future, how do these typical customers begin to strategically plan their migration into the HANA based platform of the future.  This change is essential in order to truly take advantage of the full collection of features SAP delivers in each new version of SAP Business One; some only available in the HANA version.  More importantly the true promise of the cloud and all it will mean to business in the future, will only be realized fully by customers running real-time databases, like HANA. Many industry analysts believe that within 3-5 years users will no longer work from desktops and laptops running large, full features application clients, whether they be old style fat clients (like most SAP Business One users run today) or even HTML web based application running in a browser.  Instead users will choose micro applications designed specifically for their primary day-to-day requirements, highly focused, able to work on any device, and consumed in a SAAS licensing model.
