Biz.ONE is a conference for SAP Business One users, that much is clear. But, what will you take home and will Biz.ONE actually help you improve? We set out to find these answers and to do that we talked to several past attendees to get their take.
Q: What did you learn in 2017?
A: For me, my focus at Biz.ONE is more about building relationships, like meeting Erik Worley and KC Holiday from QALO last year. They make a totally different product. Yet, we are similar when it comes to the growth challenges of supply-chain, sourcing, and product customization.
Q: What were you able to accomplish with those learnings?
A: It’s great getting to introduce team members to the organizations we work with and others vendors we are curious about. I still stand by this quote that I said that lives on the Biz.ONE site, “This is hands down the event to attend for SAP Business One customers. It provides one space to establish and deepen relationships with other partners and peers focused on scaling their business with SAP Business One.”
Q: Who or what are you looking to learn from in 2018?
A: In my role, it’s critical to understand what’s next with SAP Business One. So the roadmap sessions are key. For example, since we utilize Microsoft SQL how will that continue to be supported in tandem with HANA. Also with the internal merger of the SAP Business ByDesign team and Business One team, how will that impact the product development?
Q: What sessions are you interested in this year?
A: It will be exciting to hear David Leadbetter along with the other keynote speakers. Plus, we are honored to be a presenter this year. It gives me an opportunity to coach a teammate on how to serve their audience.
Q: What did you learn in 2017?
A: I learned in 2017 that SAP & ASUG made a valuable/worthwhile decision to utilize and partner with Eventful for the B1 annual conference.
Q: What were you able to accomplish with those learnings?
A: I was able to garner further support for and investment in the conference itself with the learnings I brought back to my company, as well as overall support from my company.
Q: Who or what are you looking to learn from in 2018?
A: I am looking forward to learning from the keynote speakers, as they too utilize B1, as well as hearing about the SAP future roadmap for B1.
Q: What sessions are you interested in this year?
A: I am excited that the Committee is bringing back the General Tips & Tricks session that was a huge hit two & three years ago!
